Hi Guys, having solved the problem of gluing the Riva acetate windscreen to the frame, i now have another one! The deck cushions on the latest kit are now it appears made from some type of rubber moulding and not plastic as specified in the manual. I have at first tried painting them with Tamiya plastic paints but the paint did not dry and stayed tacky, so i stripped this off and repainted them with acrylics which at first seamed okay but after two weeks this paint also became tacky and it has seamed to have become uncured. I wonder if anybody has had the same problem and has found a solution to it! Regards. Keith.

          Hi Keith,

I would use a Matt Humbrol enamel, or emulsion paint, the test pots are quite cheap. Satin clear varnish over that if you need a sheen finish.

          Regards Ray
