This is a very old but incomplete approx 1:250 scale model of the Queen Mary that we would like to sell. The model was started by an uncle 70 years ago but hasn’t been worked on since the 1960’s. Everything done so far is incredibly detailed. The model is currently located in the London area. Looking to sell. Not necessarily for the best price but to someone who has the time and skills to complete it. We imagined that a club may have an interest in this and we would be open to any suggestions along those lines. Please contact me via this forum.

Hi Paul,

The sales facility on this Forum is for regular contributors as stated in th topi heading. Your best bet regarding disposal would be EBay. It is unlikley that a club these days would be able to take on/store such a project but you could take advantage of the free classified advert section in Model Boats magazine whih has a proforma you can complete.

In the meantime i will leave your post up for a day or so to see if anyone else can advise.
