I have a Model and Experimental Engineering Handbook for Bond’s of Euston Road.  It is the second edition, dated 1938 and priced at 6d.  It makes fascinating reading, for instance a Stuart No. 10 steam engine for £2-10s-0d for the finished engine or 8s 6d if you only want the castings.  A 20 volt Hornby 4-6-2 Princess Elizabeth loco and tender in a presentation box for £5-5s-0d. or a No. 4 meccano set for 12s-6d.
It is 202 pages of sheer nostalgia with everything for the modeler being it railways, boats, aircraft or the tools to build them.

Is it worth anything I wonder.

Malcom, it’s worth whatever anyone is prepared to pay for it. The only way to find out – assuming a similar item is not already listed by a dealer somewhere – is to sell it, but why would you want to do that? It’s too good to loose.
