      Hello Everyone.

      I've got a model with an old Digifleet FPS-16 servo installed inside. This has the white, red and black servo cables.

      Could anybody please advise me whether or not this servo is compatible with a Futaba receiver if the cable colours marry up? I understand the ordering of the wiring is different in some Digifleet RC equipment compared to Futaba. I don't want to risk frying my receiver but at the same time since the servo is fitted it seems a shame to uninstall it if it is actually compatible.

          The colour coding for Futaba compatibility is with the Red wire in the middle. The old Fleet servos had the Black wire in the centre. The neutral position may change but you should be able to compensate by repositioning the output disc on the shaft.

            I'm still using couple of these servos. If you do as Dave says and swap the red and black wires over you will be fine.

              Thanks for your replies. After your advice I re-checked the Digifleet servo wires and the previous owner of the boat had already moved them to the Futaba ordering. I've connected the servo to my Futaba receiver and it works a treat.
