Colin, Firstly welcome to the forum.

Most web sites will have some sort of conditions that go with the For Sale facility such as a requirement for a picture or a price but while the Model Boats Magazine forum is probably more flexible than most it still does give a guidance in the sales board forum as follows:

"The selling facility is intended for regular contributors to this Forum only. The Forum is not a sales board for disposing of models or model related items which should be disposed of using one of the online sales sites such as EBay.

Our members are happy to give advice on disposing of models that may become available due to family circumstances.

I'm sure there will be members here happy to help in any way and I'm sure that sending a PM to Colin Bishop the site administrator will be helpfull. I think we are all willing to help out anyone who may be having difficulty but we also don't like to see the forum being 'used'

As Richard says, this is a Forum for modelmakers and we do not encourage its use as a sales board. Your Victory is a very expensive item and there would be little interest on here anyway.

Usually the best way of selling models is via Ebay which is likely to get you the best price for the kit. There should be more interest as you have not started it.

Another option would be to place a classified advert with Model Boats Magazine. You could suggest a discounted price or near offer. Many people in your position do this for private sales.
