        Thanks Bob it was originally designed by Mr Glynn Guest as a stand off scale representation of the type secretly having read the same book as him I reckon its the Komanderen  or at least a dam close copy. Every time I’ve taken it to the pond it has drawn an amazing amount of interest even with the HL24 alongside. Switching the lights on / off always gets a good response too. Can’t wait to get a smoker in the funnel

          For a cheap smoker……..I`ve used smouldering Mosquito repellant stuff…….Just light it and it smoulders for about 15 mins………sometimes

            We must have led parralell lives Bob I know just the stuff you mean and I’m certain there’s some in one of my old rucksack somewhere prob amongst my rockclimbing kit thats not seen the light of day for too many years

                Hi Phil ,after hours attempting to get a copy of the August 2009 issue to leaer more about the SS Noogsund and over £5 in phone calls I have just recieved a copy of the order of assembly.Not essential for an experienced builder but useful for a new builder.If you would like a copy please let me know at,smokiefarrell@googlemail.com and I will send asap.
