Margoletta is 20 years old :-)

Hi All,

I like to keep my boats operational with a couple of outings a year, so tomorrow it’s Margoletta’s turn at the lake before we start our summer series of yacht racing, then I realised she was my first design published in 2005 making her 20 years young this year, based on a a typical wooden Norfolk Broads cruiser and named after the fictional boat featured in Authur Ransome’s book “Coot Club” well she was the first of the 17 designs I have had published so far most as free plans in the magazine, here’s to the next 17 !!

Sad to say the content in that issue of the magazine was incredible, sign of the times I guess !!

Ray, there were a heck of a lot more expert contributors back in those days, most of whom have passed on in one way or another.

We did have some wonderful times.
