Last model gone

Having given up ship model building a while back, we decided to keep four models_ tramp steamer Baron Vernon – square riggers County of Peebles, barques Christine and Gulf Steam.

The last one to go was collected by a relation of the buyer, who paid for it and took it away.  As so often happened in the past, nothing further has been heard.   No doubt everything is OK, but putting my heart and soul into these models, it would be nice to just receive acknowledgement of safe arrival!

Never mind – I am glad it is all over now – Here is one of the ones we kept, a ficticious ship named after my wife, designed and built by myself.
