krick victoria steam launch

Hi new to the model boats community but with lots of enthusiasm. I bought an old krick victoria with krick victor engine/boiler from ebay-in shameful disrepair.

The boat is structurally sound and needs cosmetic help-maby to refinish the hull, resurface the deck.

The engine may not b salvageable-I dont have enough specific knowledge of these things, not sure if I should attempt to fire it up yet for safety reasons.

Any assistance is appreciated

Doug. Photo photo photo plse or no one will be able to advise anything ! If it is a steam engine then you should have the boiler checked over first and pressure tested;never know…

You need to take it to a club that has a steam inspector and get him to check it out for you. Whereabouts in the country are you?
