Model Slipway Trent Lifeboat For Sale

With much regret I am selling my Trent Lifeboat it is built as the Whitby boat in 2002. You might have seen it displayed at the Birchwood show.

This is how it was when first built

It has been in dry storage since 2012 but the orange paint on the foredeck has started to peel in a small area so I am selling it as spares or repair.

Has twin Johnson 500s and pneumatically operated trim tabs.

Pick up only but I am willing to drive a short distance and meet the buyer.

I will post more photos showing its current condition later.

It is a real shame and it is really upsetting as its in great condition apart from the paint peeling and if I had the time I would repaint the area myself and put the price upto £700 but needs must so it has to go.

I am posting it on facebook and then ebay for £450 (£400 for MBM Forum members)

Also featured in Model Boat Magazine. It has been in dry storage since 2012 but the orange paint on the foredeck has started to peel in a small area so I am selling it as spares or repair.

Just thought it was time for a little bit of culture. And yes – I do know that Widnes is west of Lymm but if you're going to be silly then why let a little point of geography get in the way?

stopped for a night at Lymm whilst on my way to Llangollen on my narrow boat some years ago……….remembered it as a lovely quiet peaceful area………I felt totally out of place, lol.
