Not quite correct Dave, the post on the Mayhem website is a bit exaggerated I'm afraid.

Dave Wooley has been in contact with both myself and Paul Freshney earlier this week. He has been admitted to hospital to deal with a long standing condition that his doctors now consider to require surgical attention. The prognosis is good, he is not expected to be in hospital very long and anticipates making a full recovery in a month or two if all goes well.

So no need to panic or for a stream of posts wishing him a speedy recovery. That goes without saying. Paul or I will post updates if and when it becomes appropriate. In the meantime his regular Rangefinder column in Model Boats will continue as usual.

That's OK Dave. Dave Wooley does a lot of work for Model Boats and we had understood that he didn't want to go public at this stage. The post on Mayhem was a bit alarmist and didn't reflect our understanding of the situation. When there is any further news we will let our members know.
