I have nearly completed this kit and thought my experiences might be of interest to anyone considering it.

My first recommendation would be – don't waste your money on this truly awful box of bits!!! I expected being of German origin the quality would be first rate – but it is sadly lacking in all departments. The "instructions" are abysmal; if they had been translated from Chinese it could be excused, but I could have done a better job, and in Deutsch!

Some small parts were missing; unfortunately I had bought it over the internet and got no useful response from the seller. Not surprisingly, Krick also ignored my emails.

I can accept that this model is not intended for beginners, but to give one instance of the poor quality, the two propellor tubes were 7mm shorter than shown on the plan. Not that big a discrepancy, but the knock on effect was that WTC had to be moved back, and the angle was then wrong so the props fouled the hull etc etc…

If anyone has made the same mistake as me I would be willing to offer my advice since I seem to have encountered all of the problems and deficiencies and overcome most of them!
