I am trying to find a kit that would allow me to build a tug similat to what I remember crossing the Hudson River, in the 40”s and 50”s, pushing the railroad barges, from the New York Central and/or thePennsy!

Any leads?

Sounds like Jersey City which is a Dumas Kit. These tugs if I recall were built with a high bridge/wheelhouse to see over the rail barges.

hi guys.

Does anyone out there remember the "Yorkshireman" which was a pleasure boat operating in Bridlingyon. It was a tug Built by Earles of Humberside I think a flat bottomed tug sadly towed to Brussels where she was broken up.

I am trying to find either a kit for her or plan NOT to be confused by the model offered by Model Slipway.
