Hello,

I am a model builder from the Netherland. I have already build some lifeboats.

The boats I have build are the Trent and the Severn.

Now I want to build another lifeboat, but I can’t find any building article about these two boats.

I want to build the RNLB Alice Upjohn or the Ann Letitia Russel .

Is there somebody who already build one off these ships.

Where can I buy these ships, and how can I order one off this moddels.

I am searching for pictures off these models.

Are there any building articles about these ships.

What kind off engine are there in these boats to make It RC.

I hope that there is someone who can give me an answer to my questions.

I have a copy of the Alice Upjohn build review from the April 2004 issue of Model Boats. I can email this to uou if you wish.

Would you mail the article from the Alice Upjohn building review to me.

So I can read how I must make the model.

Are the hulls from these model made off polyester.

I have already send a mail to Metcalf mouldings, but I haven’t get not a respons from them.

somewhere in my files I have both kit reviews of the Anne Lettitia Russell lifeboat, and if you pm me your email address I’ll find them and scan for emailing to you.

If you want to know anything about the model, I hopefully will be able to give you an answer as I designed the kit some years ago.

The hull and both cabins of the ALR are grp ( glass re inforced plastic) and the wood effect on the cabin tops is from printed wood effect paper deeply varnished.

both the ALR and the Alice Upjohn are superb sailing boats by the way.
