I have a Futaba 2 Ch Tx some 10 years old which has been used to sail boats up to now. My son would like to use it in a glider so needs the LH stick converted to self centreing.>>

Does anyone have the necessary spring mechanism to do this that they don’t want or know from whom one can be purchased please? >>

      Rick>>

You would need to quote the model number/name.

I bought one of these for my 6EXA a while back from Mick Charles Models http://www.mickcharlesmodels.co.uk/ who appeared to have various varieties in stock but I imagine that most competent R/C model shops will be able to help if you quote them the details of your kit.

Thanks Colin, will try Mick Charles, it is an Attack-SR 2ch 27meg set we purchased some ten years ago and converted the LH stick to rachet operation at the time, unforunately we lost the bits we took out!

Failing this has anyone an old or broken TX they don’t want, please?
            Rick.

              Hello Rick

I`m only going off my poor memory…….but I think you only need to remove the ratchet mechanism…….and you could be back to the self centering mode?

              Worth a try?……..Bob

                Thanks for the input Bob.
Yes removing the ratchet will free up the stick but it needs a ‘swing arm and spring’ to centre it automatically.
I have tried Futaba services and a couple of other sources but am told that particular model has been superceded several times by Futaba and there are no spares to be had.
I am hoping one of our members may have a broken or unused Tx from which the bits could be salvaged if they are willing to do so.
                Rick.
