Had to go wading this week due to a Tamiya plug failing. I find these plugs a bit hit and miss and someone suggested gold connecters all through but I like the security of not being able to connect up the wrong way. Any suggestions for a better alternative?
I had problems with Tamiya connectors, especially trying to carry high current. So I started using deans plugs, these are used a lot by the aircraft modellers, and give good contact
Thanks for the prompt replies and suggestions. I was looking at the Deans plugs on Model Power website but , of course, you can’t really know what you are looking at so it’s helpful to have some input. I might splash out on a pair of Deans and Traxxas ones and see which I prefer. Thanks again for the help.
Best wishes,
Ian
