I have just seen a radio controlled model of the Winermere steam launch Dolly.I have not been able to find plans for this model so instead purchased plans to build the Edwardian steam launch "Miranda",but am very dissapointed with the accuracy of the drawing.

Has anyone else had any experience with this drawing.

I am a professional boatbuilder but am really unable to decifer what the designer has done between the two drawings.

If all else fails with these drawings,does anyone know where plans for "Dolly"may be available.

Hi Peter,

I have made a few necessary adjustments to the plans as the template drawing did not correspond with the plan and profile.I adjusted the width of "D" and "C".Changed the keel profile from just forward of "B" and added 3 extra temporary frames between "C"and"D" .1 extra frame between "B"and "C" and one extra frame between "D" and the transom,these i felt were necessary to maintain the hull shape while planking.

Progress has been good so far and i hope to have her on the water for the summer.

Hoped to send you a photo of progress so far but haven’t worked out how to compress the file size to 250kb.
