        HI Bob

As you have decided not to paper the hull, what about light weight glass cloth???? you have seen my Amsterdam tug, that has two layers of glass on the hull, very quick to apply and super hard when the epoxy is cured.

        Worth a thought.

Seasons greetings to you and Paul, keep up the banter,

That's got to be Bob with Dave, I know because I took the picture at Etherow, and it broke my camera, (only kidding)

We don't really know at the moment

Lady Joyce will be on show ar Ellesmere on the Etherow stand at least

We hope to have a stand at Haydock in the same spot as last time and may be a larger display too

All the best Dave for Crimbo and the New Year

Continuing the Festive Season of fun with another consignment of paint and brushes for the paint shop

Gave Lady Joyce`s bottom a coat of red oxide…..Just for fun

If it wasn`t for the propshaft holes, we could have towed her round the lake today, since it`s the club`s Frostbite Sail event

It`s a nice idea though……..Pal Duckie has got a Wyeforce Tug that would do the job nicely………Would make an exciting photograph and video

                          Next job……Get the propshafts installed

You were nearly right with your prophecy, Paul!

                            Hi Bob

It would only take a lump of putty to stop up the holes in the hull……………………..so the prophesy can still be fulfilled. My next prediction will involve Ellesmere Port, Tugs and a large goose.

No Bob its not the spruce goose.

All I do is look at the tea leaves and tell people what I see…………in this mornings reading I was not surprised to see Ellesmere Port and Tugs but I was stunned to see that the vision also included a goose.

One of the problems with my visions is that they are all in black and white, I would like them to be in colour but I cant afford the licence.

I was hoping that you or Kevin might be able to explain the significance of the large goose.

The first coat of gloss has dried nicely

                                            Now working on the rudders

Paul, for your records, the propshafts are 180mm apart and the rudders are 75mm from the transom face

Your side elevation shows the rudder and prop protected from knocks by the keel skeg, but on the twin version to gear is sticking out like a sore thumb!

Suggest we build a short length of skeg in front of the props, which will allow the hull to stand up without a stand and the bottom edges could be used to bolt on bottom rudder supports

I`m pleased you like the idea, without it…..We`ll be Goosed!
