Hello Bob,
I'm sure you will agree that details are not the be-all and end-all of a what constitutes an impressive model (nor is size for that matter) — and what really strikes me when looking at your latest photos of this build is the marvelous way in which you've re-created in three dimensions those pretty lines, and also the quality of the wood working: shapes that should be mirrored or otherwise symmetrical are just that, that which should be straight is straight, curves flow gracefully and there is a sharpness and uniformity of definition to the edges, all of which I find truly pleasing to the eye.
It is also a feat to admire, because while the result — "yes, that is what a boat looks like" — may appear self-evident to the uninitiated, anyone who've ever attempted making a complex series of shapes out of wood knows that it is anything but, and that it requires true skills to achieve.
