Absolutely lovely to see it restored and model boating permitted. I grew up in New Southgate so this was my local park. I remember many summers when IC boats where used on the pond, then laterly all boating activity was banned!

I assume that only electric boats will be permitted? This is a problem for those wanting to use IC. I now live in Melton Mowbray and the nearest water to run IC is at the Boston Club, or 100 miles south at the Stevenage Club.

Well done to Enfield council to restore the pond to its original function.
