        Hi Dave

I'm using a heavy duty servo to rotate each hopper.

The teardrop shape of the hoppers ensures that the loads starts to deliver immediately and thus places minimum stress on the servos.

The hoppers can be operated individually or in unison depending upon the anglers requirements.

            Hi Dave

As bait boats go this one is on the large side but the requirement for the 8kg load was very specific so I designed the boat around the load.

I have specified a pair of brushless motors to enable a quick turn around and included spaces for fish finders, depth finder, extra 1kg load capability at the front and an automatic rig release on the rear.

Guess who is back on building a bait boat …..same design only this time its smaller and has to be very light so I get to play with carbon fiber and those dreaded brushless thingies.

The design has already changed as the 'client' wants a completely stripped down machine which is to have no unnecessary parts or components and still have a decent turn of speed and carry a 4kg load.

I am now thinking of using a pair of float / pontoons to provide buoyancy and contain the drive motors / props and use a basic hopper arrangement in a skeleton frame fix between the floats.

                  Something to think about.

Use as a template the old HMS Fearless. Use the flooded well deck to dispense boilies (or whatever) Ashley
