Still looks the same, I am afraid. Have been doing a bit (lot) of tidying up!

Today, I moved myself to do a bit more. I hacked out the general shape of the hull and in addition to this, scored all the deck planking to an accurate scale of 32 feet to 1 inch.

Hello Len,

It was not Sovereign of the Seas, but British steel-hulled four-masted barque Lord Ripon!

I completed it on the 21st June. I never bothered updating the building photographs because of a general lack of interest in this type of ship

Here is the completed model.

Hi Mr Wilson, your model of the Lord Ripon looks great, I have been collecting photos of this vessel for years and even thought of trying to build a model but I could not find any plans for it.. My interest in this vessel is that the first master was William Butler, I am his great grandson also a seaman but retired these days.
