I am seeking any information including pictures of FV of the Scottish ringnetter design built during WW II.

I have recently discovered that a number of these were built for the MoD during the war period for use in inshore waters to search for mines etc. If any found reports were then passed up line for removal etc. They were built exactly as FV and geared but thought not to too heavily used for fishing, it being a disguise?

Post war these unregistered craft were surplus to Navy requirements and many were sold out, and only then being registered to a home port.

Can anyone direct me to or impart to me information regarding this “fleet” if it existed, and where the builds took place etc.
