May I take this oppertunity to congratulate Model Boats and Glynn Guest on the artical published in the April issue.

It embodies virtually all the information needed to connect and run a scale model installation.

Its refreshing not to have water cooling for hot motors, and advice to match props to loads.

The only thing I fell is missing is advice on selection and fitting a fuse to the system, insurance against the unforseen.

      Congratulations once again Tom

        Hi Tom

The main thing to always remember, without fail, that the purpose of a fuse is to protect the wiring, so work out the max current you expect,  add half agin  to be safe, and fuse it in line to that amount……. hope you dont think this is too basic,……..

        cheers

          Hi Chris

As a retired electrical engineer I do appreciate the principle.  My comment was purely a (I hope) constructive comment on what I thought was a very good article

          cheers Tom
