Thinking back a few years, to about 2006, I am aware that quite a few one time regulars seem to absent without permission?

Can anybody's shed any light of the following absent friends?……

60Watt?

ARH?

Vinnie Branigan?

John Boyd?

HS 93?

Dave P?

Manxman?

Ducky?

Len Ochitree?

Sandy Thomson?

Dr John Booth?

Phil Winks?

Andy Hustler?

J C Uknz?

Paul Beard?

Pierre?

Paul Godfrey?

A few others, I can't recall or find

How time has passed so quickly……Going back eight years!

Paul Godfrey dropped out of active model boating 18 months or so ago having I believe married recently and was also always keen on motorcycling/motor homing as well. He does however have a Speedline lifeboat 'in house' I believe.

Vinnie Brannigan was Colin's predecessor and left MTM in around late-2008, but I understand his prime interest was military modelling.

As for the others, I don't know.

Peter "HS93" died a couple of years ago, but I saw Phil Winks as large as life at the Shepton Mallet show very recently. I'm pretty sure that Andy Hustler has posted this year. Of the rest I've no knowledge.

With regard to Paul Godfrey, who was a member of Brentwood MBC until Dec 2012, I don't think he has forgotten the hobby, just taking a break as it were. He was/is a first class model maker and will no doubt be back at some point in time.

Hi Bob,

Dave P here. I have not gone away I have been lurking on the site a bit.

I have had work related aggravation plus some family probs yet again which has curtailed my hobby activities. I am also in the middle of redecorating my open plan through lounge which is like doing three rooms at once as the stairs, landing need to be done at the same time as the front and back down stairs rooms.

I have been following the gentleman's cruiser thread with interest.

Anyway, I will be posting again just I am rather busy at the moment.

I think Len Ochitree posts on Mayhem as Big Ada. The same photograph and signs off as Len, but I can't be 100% sure.
