Here is a photo I took back in January (our summer) of a rather spectacular sunset. It was taken from our veranda with my 7.1 Mp Olympus 780 compact camera, on its “Sunset” setting.

 

Perhaps other people have some weather shots they would like to share.

Here are 2 photos I took while in England last year. As part of our stay there, we spent a week in Minehead, Somerset, where I took these shots. We were staying in a flat in the Metropole Court, 3 floors up, overlooking the water, and the railway station.

Neil, you have to admit that rainbows do look pretty though.

 

Here’s a photo of one I took from my driveway a couple of years ago during a summer storm. I was pressure cleaning the driveway when the storm hit, and had to beat a hasty retreat when the lightning started flashing quite close by. The pressure cleaner can be seen on the drive, at the bottom of the shot.
