On behalf of the Manx Model Boat Club I would sincerely like give our thanks to all those Clubs and societies that were present for voting the Manx display as Best In Show.

It was our first appearance at Warwick, it will not be our last. Our crew thoroughly enjoyed themselves even though it meant travelling over on the Wednesday with boats prior to the Show and return on the Monday after, a 6 day run for us.

We are already compiling a list of "active" boats to bring next year, it seems that the pool displays are keenly watched.

Hi Kim,

Was looking out for you on AMBO stand where I spoke to Richard Chesney. Never though to look on Manx stand for you – sorry! It was certainly a great display and deserved the award.

Well done to Manx modellers for a first class stand , i sorry i did not get to speak to you,

Was there Friday with a new lad keen to buy a model boat so trade stands got the first bite ,

but did have a chat to Paul Freshney who was lurking on the Marine modelling International stand,

purchased a few bits of stuff my self , may be next year we might meet up god willing,

one of the best shows around and not to far to get to ,

and its a area i used live in………………………….cheers Larry…..

sorry we didn't meet up Larry, as you say there's always next year.

I'm at Sandown in December, but only on Saturday, have to curtail days at shows these days too.
