Has anyone please got one of these for sale hanging around and no longer required please? futaba FP-R122JE (bec) receiver. I am on yellow (ch4) but that shouldnt make a diff as my crystals are working. fair price paid

Keith. Howes does a 27Mhz receiver for a mere £8.50 which works for my Ranger sets fine..would this be suitable?

i bought a bunch of them a while ago, along with 6 pairs of crystals from E-bay to future proof my gear for a few years.

That's an 2-ch AM receiver for £8.50 on the Howes website buit it won't work if the Tx is FM. They do sell a genuine Futaba replacement for the R122JE but it's on 40mhZ AM Futaba receiver

It seems that 2-channel 27Mhz FM receivers are as rare as rocking horse pooh.

thx guys, seem to have a problem with mine (fitted to wiesel refurb job) s/c works fine ch1+2 rudder works fine ch 1+2 s/c +rudder plugged in rudder dont work, swapped to rudder reversed the s/c rudder 2+1 rudder dont work again. looks like my fm rec is single channel? or ch 2 dont connect. confused. looks like the bin for my trusty fm set, gave me so much pleasure that did. was hoping someone would have 1 knocking about. BTW I did try my 35 meg set in there and everything is fine all working. obviously cant use it its for my glider

thanks anyway will keep trying seems a shame to bin it

hey kip, success, just found a commander 27 am set 3 channel, I know for a fact futaba rec. work on it, is the rcv you got still for sale butty? if so how much and will you accept chq/p.o. for payment? pm me and will send details. just binned the fm rec. but will keep the attack, tx. you never know something might turn up

Unfortunately the FP-R122JE I have, is a 40mhz, but have sent 2 Futaba 27mhz ones that were laying around.

1 is a 2ch & the other is a 3ch, they both work but one has had a repair to the antenna wire.

cheers kip, very gratefull, how about I stick the fiver in the charity box at minehead lifeboats? can do that if its ok. never know when the wiesel out in the harbour I may need them to rescue the crew.

kip, christmas card on the way. many thanks everything now working perfect. old rcv. binned, think a bit of salty severn estuary water may have put paid to the insides of that one and confused it. soon as weather changes will post some fotos of finished wiesel (maybe in m/head harbour) donation made to m/head lifeboats done as well. have a pint on me

Glad they sorted your hiccup, I would probably have had them sat in a drawer for another ten years, or binned them, never likely to have used them myself.
