I thought it was worth drawing attention to this link on the Mayhem site which lists plans of many famous ships built by Vickers Armstrong 1931-1969 (excluding the war years).

Hi Colin This is a gold mine of information. I enquired about plans sources at Vickers Armstong some years ago and drew a blank . fantastic news , well done Colin .

No credit to me Dave, the link was posted on Mayhem. Bob Wilson has had a look and said they plans are very expensive though.

Some year ago plans from the NMM was an expensive purchase now the cost is more realistic and affordable .

A friend recently got a set of tanker plans from Tyne & Wear and they cost well over £100, in fact I think it was £150!
