Hi I have a book called Boat Modelling bye Vic Smead. In this book there is a plan of the Silver Mist ,can any body tell me what size this boat is supposed to be please, as the drawing or plan is 6 inches bye 4 1/2 inches. Regards Merv.

With something like that you can increase the drawing to any size that you want, just make it something that you can handle

It Was April fools day today & no body did catch me  out ,Just goes to show if you hide in a corner & be still ,know one will find you,But I ant hidding in a corner, I is here all 110 kilos, Waiting for some nice person to talk to me, & we know who that is dont we just, yes we sure do, so lets all have a nice day & think friendly thoughts of each other & them as well, Model boating is a very pleasurable hobby dont you think,/ Enjoy the day as the Fairies do say Merv.

Hello from over the Sea, It is 10-30 am wednesday morning & it s a rainy day, so I can stay in side & model boats. I asked Vinnie about the Magazine that has the plans for the tug boat Jasman desined bye Ricky webb, That len calls the Ada now I dont want to be a pain in the Neck,  but I still have not heard from you Vinnie so can you let me know One way or the other please.Thanks Merv

Hi all ,its a lovely cool night tonight , its about 10=45 pm Nothing to do but sit in the hobby room & build boats, hows the weather treating every body. I have heard its been snowing, well thats what you get when Its winter ,we are lucky it dont snow in the North Island well not here in Hamilton just rains & blows.I havent heard from any body about any thing whats new.( Paul Excluded) I have a question for vinnie === question is how much for A years supply of magazines? I asked you about the magazine October 2003, that has the free plan of Jasmin Designed by Ricky Webb, & you said give you a few days & it  has been about 3 weeks ,can you come back to me on that please It would be good to know.Regards Mervyn. Did you ever manage to sort out that back issue copy of the ada tug plans?

I was reading through some old threads and just wondered if our new friend from New Zealand had been successful.

How is the weather out there Merv I bet its freezing cold and deep snow drifts just like it is in Denton over here.

Hi Paul, No I havent heard back from vinnie, but I was hoping,  But that would be just my luck being Way

down here we get forgotten some times. The weather ?  well we have had a Drought for the last 6 or7

months, Then in the last two days it has rain all over the country  there has been floods, Thunder storms ,

& we have had 4 Students & a Teacher drowned,  In rising flood waters while crossing a stream. Where

we live in the waikato we dont have snow too warm. not to worry Summer for you is just around the

corner. Until next time from the land of the long white

cloud.

Its not like Vinne to miss a reply but I do know that he is a busy guy especially with running that "other" site (it’s a bit embarrassing as its such a good site so we don’t talk about it much do we Vinnie)
