      Some time ago, my pal Duckie was wandering round the local garden centre, when he spotted an unusual plant holder! It was a concrete tugboat

      It was so well made and finely cast that he decided to buy it

      He took it home and gave it a good scrub and decided it would look nice if it was painted

      He sanded it and rubbed it down with great care, as if it was a model boat

      He is now thinking of entering it in this years static club competition!

      That should raise a few eyebrows?

            I can well attest that concrete boats can float, our launch is ferro cement!

            Fill it with chips and moor a little dinghy full of dip along side!cheeky

              Having thought about it, drilling along thin hole for the propshaft might be tricky.

              Amy, an Antipodean suggestion if ever I heard one. Long lazy nights at the watering hole, boats floating about…some with mozzy repelling candles, others with tasty nibbles, aircraft carrier with a cooled interior and lifts raising cold ones to the deck, ah…
