No, just watching at the moment, went up to 190, then back to 102 and now 155 so bids have been retracted. Your not going for a 5th are you !!

I have had a punt but being careful as there are no photos of the contents, the chap has 100% feedback and looks to be a genuine seller but you know the problem with things that seem to good to be true,

Its a bit of a trot to Blackburn to argue over a half empty box.

Oh Eck, Sorry to hear about the Covid and hope you make a speedy recovery, couple of relatives have just caught I assume the Omicron variant as they do not seem to bad, one being My Son who is confined to his room as I have recently had an op and could do with not catching any illness just yet.

Shame as was looking forward to this but can not be helped, was looking at the Lego Titanic but can not get the expense pass the account . Anyway get well soon

Not very interesting news this, but have to inform that one of my grandchildren (adult size) gave me the Cobi, Lego-style- Titanic for Xmas! She thought it was a plastic kit (not Lego) and knowing that my grandfather worked on the full size build in Belfast, she reckoned that I ought to build a mini version.

Don't know when I'll start, but I suppose it kan be built in the style of doing jig-saw puzzle. ie. on the diningroom table and in the fullness of time. Maybe I can get the Admiralty interested -like Ray's wife doing a jig-saw puzzle?

It has knocked the stuffing out of me, thankfully I am fully jabbed so I avoided the worst but it was a two weeks that I don't want to repeat.

Still as weak as a kitten and very tired.

Sorry to read that the dreaded bug found you Paul. Yet good to note that you are over the worst of it. Luckily this is a time of year when most are able to take their time and get back up to speed again. Wish you a speedy recovery -at your own pace though!

I was very lucky to have survived covid the jabs certainly prevented a far worse outcome.

The docs tell me that full recovery could take some time so serious model building will be on hold for a while, the current job is a 1:5 scale Swordfish so the workshop is full of frames and ribs.

hope you are both ok Paul and Bob

had bronchitis since before christmas, brought on by a bad pre christmas cold…………had to go to my gp yesterday for my 1st diabetis check and because i've had a permanent cough for over 3 weeks thought i needed to take a covid test, as i'd fealt wrotten for a couple of weeks……….luckily i was negative, but when i got to the surgery and asked the nurse how her christmas had gone she told me it was her first day back as she had been self isolating because daughter had proven positive………….so it's just luck i believe if you get it or not at the mo………….but

take care and try to stay safe.
