Just watching the film of tjhat name and looking at the model boats and thinking of the guys that made these models only to see them blown to bits and set fire , must have been heart breaking , i think i would have throtled the producer !!!!!!!!

There is good money in making models for the film industry, they usually want more than one and if they co*k up the shoot they ask for more.

Its all computer models now all CGI but to me its like watching a cartoon

Hi Phil

I am happy to say that not all film makers have resorted to using computer generated images as they prefer the challenge and realism of filming models. The models provide a depth of field and the constant changing of light and shade that only very expensive computer time can provide.
