Oo er. Rather windy at the pond, in fact TOO windy. It did not fall over though so that’s encouraging. The wind was such that only on full power was I able to make any headway even just slightly into the winds.
despite some tinkering, the shrouds were falling off, and after some head scratching as to why this should be, a glance at the boat on its stand showed me why. The masts were bending in the wind (despite the special sails) and the shroud fixings we’re losing engagement.
At home I have started to cure this using a different method…
Richards dying gull was like a speedboat in the wind…cor…racing yot or wot.
Luckily I had a landing craft to play with as well, although even then Richard topped this with a Tirpitz
