Announcing the inaugural North East Model Boat Show!
      Sat & Sunday 28th 29th March 2009

      Venue is:  Temple Park,
      John Reid Road,
      South Shields,
      Tyne & Wear,
      NE34 8QN

For what we believe is the first time ever there is to be a show in the North East…having spoke to many a household name in the model boat industry no one can remember a show in this part of the world..

We are on the look out for clubs many expressed an interest at the Blackpool show.. from York Bridlington and as far north as Scotland and we trust Tynemouth will be there… We have just invited all the traders as you generally now and again with the feedback at Blackpool most of the trade are wanting to attend, the venue is a very large sports centre with a cafe and all the usual you would expect with apparently more parking spaces than you can shake a stick at

The traders invited and some have already booked including I am sure will be Tyne Models who we may look to for a little local knowledge in the area.
The traders invited are as below and of course others are welcome

If you are a club wishing to attend please email us and we will get a booking form out to you.. We will be running prizes along the lines of Blackpool e.g. several different classes for boats in best kit best scratch and best semi kit along with Ladies prizes and if there is enough entry a junior class, we may even be looking for couple of individuals to join the judging panel
