Children's activities, including 'have a go'

There are 27 Clubs displaying , 23 Traders and 5 Individual Displays.

Not 1, But 2 Ponds will be in use throughout the Convention, a new deep one and the regular shallow one.

For Clubs / Individuals Dispalying
Competition entry forms (available on our Download page) Please note that these need to be in the Secretary’s hands by the 10th August latest in order that the necessary preparation of judging forms can be done for the judges.
For Junior boat builders please note the age of the competitor on the form.
Entries will not be accepted at the event so please ensure that your members who wish to enter boats have the necessary paperwork.
We have enclosed a sheet headed “The Judges Viewpoint” (also on the downloads page) which may be of interest to competitors as it explains the criteria used in judging model boats. All prizes must be collected by the winner in person on the Sunday at 4.p.m.

Well with the show only a day away , I have the money I am allowed to spend, and maybe some SWMBO does not know about in my pocket to get a few bits and bobs from the assortment of traders, and to envy a lot of the model boats on display and only wish my building standards were so good..Hope to see some of you there..

Looking forward to going as its been a couple of years since I last went to the show.

I hope to be fit enough to show some models again next year meanwhile I shall just toddle around and annoy the traders.

An Excellent 2 days at the Model Boat Convention, and despite the rain early on Sunday I think I still have managed to get a Tan..

Plenty of Clubs with some very, very, very nice models and lots of traders who managed to get money out of me..

Will post pictures shrtly when uploaded, just sorting out the Pollux Tugfootball match. It is reported that the Guys and Girls at Ribble won this round..
