I noticed an article in the magazine about the minigear for small models ie the 1:72nd scale Airfix kit of an MTB, do any fellow members know where I might buy this kit, and also any information on how to motorize it using minigear.

Most Airfix stockists should be able to get hold of one such as Antics:

There are some articles in the Features section on 'Plastic Magic' including the article in the current December issue of Model Boats by Dave Abbott on the Italieri MAS Boat. To view two of then online you need to be a subscriber however.

Thanks very much for your reply I followed your advice re "ANTICS" and they had some in stock, I ordered one today now I will try to find some information on motorizing it, and try to find some suitable 1:72nd crew figures for it again any advice would be most welcome.

The kit comes with crew figures – about 4 or 5 from memory

Antics are normally good with deliveries, I have used them on several occasions. With regard to installing the running gear then if you haven't already got it, the MAS boat article in the December issue may be quite helpful.

Also, if you are buying the running gear from Deans then they might send you a couple of photos if you ask nicely. They are pretty helpful.
