Ok , A little update and good news I think.. Apparently my last post was inacurate, I contacted teh Subscription people and they quote..:-

      #######

You can always view the subscribed digital issues. Once you buy it, it is forever

You would need the Pocketmags app to read them. Also, there isn't a way to download the issues to your hard disk or any other secondary storage.

      #######

Also, the app is free and you will be only paying for the magazines. Since you have already paid and downloaded, it should not be an issue to view the magazines even after stopping the subscription.

      #######

Must admit I find the 2nd paragraph intresting as if you can not download it , How are you able to view the magazine off line, which you can as I have tested it.. Strange things these apps…

Recently updated my iPad operating system to ios7. The iPad app no longer works. I input my email and password but nothing happens. What can I do? Should I delete the app and then reload it?

I have heard that the new IOS7 doesn't work with some apps which are having to be rewritten. I don't know if this is the case here. Your best bet is to get directly in touch with the MyTimeMedia subscriptions people and check.

            Hello Paul, Model Boats Editor;

I need clarification regarding the "Special Summer Issue". The Canadian importer

"Express-mag" in Montreal knew nothing about it, and spoke only of the Autumn copy.

Apart from d/l a digital copy, do I have to search my own copy at a local bookstore eg.

"Chapters" or "Indigo"? I quite enjoy MB and look forward to every copy.

            Regards, Lord Havengotteny, Calgary

              My Lord!

The Summer Special was a special limited edition and not part of the regular subscriptions/issues. As such it was available through W H Smith in the UK and directly from MyHobbyStore.

I believe there was a certain amount of availability in other countries but it appears not in your case.

However you can still purchase a copy from MyHobbyStore here: **LINK**

Hope this helps Colin (Editor of the Summer Special)

ON the question of the digital issues and more so for the Online Archive, and those who are able to view this currently on this site if a Subscriber, Am I correct that come some time in the new year we will loose access to the currant mags dating back to 2007 ?. If this is correct I think it will be a great loss for the MB forum/site as it is quite useful. I can understand that they want to stop releasing them for the archive because of the pocketMags app but can see no reason why to turn off what is already there.
