Is there any one interested in trading a boat ect for a STUART TURNER 11/2 B.H.P. TYPE R3M MARINE ENGINE (NOT A MODEL)  DATE 20/3/62 fully restored lots of brass, reason for trade (70+ changed to model boats instead of full size ones) engine value about £450 looking for a nice PUFFER / TUG,

I had a lovely Coaster Ben Ain that I would have gladly swapped, but it has now gone to auction.

I have often ankered to build a small steam launch to play on the canals with, but will have to wait.

i’d love one, paul but SWMBO would kill me if i brought anything else home.

just bouight a model lifeboat to sail this summer whilst i build  another one. if i told her i was building a 16′ launch in the drive, she’d pack my bags and sell the contents of my workshop whilst i sat on the doorstep, lol

Why stop at a 16ft launch….is your drive to short for a 25footer…then you wouldnt have to sit on the doorstep.

Whilst selling off your workshop contents ask your dear lady for some freebies for me as I have just sold off most of the major tools in my workshop (and the workshop)
