Hi there, I wonder if anyone out there has a copy of Vic Smeeds 'Simple model yacht' booklet. I am about to start on the Starlet Yacht and understand this booklet has building notes in it. Any help gratefully received, thanks.

I have the booklet 'Simple Model Yachts' in archive. I could scan and email the pages on the Starlet build, total 19 pages. If this is of any value, please send your email in a personal message.

Much of the building, i.e. method of construction etc. would still be relevant, but the finishing materials, adhesives and r/c fit-out wouldn't be relevant today. The sails are still listed in the Nylet range.

Tony, could I be really cheeky and ask for a massive favour if still possible please. I realise it's an old post.

I've just received the plans and am awaiting the wood kit from Belair for the Starlet. I've had a search around for "simple model yachts" but it's obviously entered the realm of Rocking horse do do! As Brian says above, any help would be greatly received.

There is currently one for sale on ebay which needs renovation.

I did have a look around eBay, there's a few for sale that look similar, and a lovely looking fully built one, I do like the classic looks.
