Perhaps you can explain to me why it is considered satesfactory, or apparently in some cases essencial, for people to respond to a enquiry on this site with a “joke”?
Had this “humourous” posting had anything to contribute to the question raised, then it might have had value.
As a newcomer to this site, I found it quite insulting to have what I thought was a valid question to be treated in this fashion by someone who has never met me.
I do not believe you would expect people to behave like this when in a “face to face” situation, perhaps this site encourages such tactless and insensitive behaviour?
Can I suggest that the humourous clique on this site reserve their humour for between themselves otherwise they may well drive others away. Or, is that their plan?
