Hello folks….. This is really aimed at Dave Wooley regarding his article in April issue, but I don’t know how to contact… perhaps some good soul will send this on.   I don’t mean to be a smart a..,   just a helpful hint……  The heat sink he recommends is just the job.  If I can make so bold, many years ago, when I joined the RAF, I was taught to make a heat sink in the same way, but with the added edition of a copper rod soldered and crimped into the jaws of the croc clip …… file it flat and you have the bees knees of a heat sink.    Hope I’m not trying to teach grandma’s out there to suck eggs …..!!!

      Cheers

      Chris
