Hi readers

can anyone direct me to a book on sratch building from plans. I am new to this hobby and have built my first scratch built boats but ran into many errors as I was not sure what to do but worked my way around things.

 

I would like to hear from anybody who can help.

Buy a few back copies of “model boats”, with free plans by Glynn  Guest, he is the man to cut through the mystique of scratchbuilding for beginners. if you can make a good job of a few of thgose, then you are well on your way.

 

To be honest, all my boats (ok, they are not all EXACTLY boats) are stand off scale , as this suits the rapid pace of my lifestyle  (reaches for paper bag after uttering such rubbish) and I favour  a bit of quantity as well as  displaying my considerable modelling talent (chortle chortle).

 

I`m afraid I am like several bods here, once one is finished, i am already looking for the next one.

so easy builds does it for me.
