It’s Ian again the guy who is building the delPrado HMS Victory. I have another question for all you kit builders out there; When you measure a boat (static kit) would you measure from stern to the point of the bow sprit or just to the bow? I am trying to ascertain the scale of this model so I can add copper plating to it without making the plates too large or not large enough. Cheers Guys

       Regards Ian

        Hi Ian.

On a full size boat you would measure from the stern to the bow post so to get an accurate scale I would think it would be the same.

        Regards William

          Hi William

Thanks very much. I have since found out that this kit is 1:100 do you or anyone else reading think it would be alright to use the copper plates sold by Mantua at a scale of 1:200?

           Regards Ian
