Here are some links following a search on this forum:

          **LINK**

and here are some more from 'The Other' forum (Enter Perkasa in the box and hit Search)

          **LINK**

You'll receive more helpful replies if you do some basic research yourself, John. These two searches took me less than two minutes, and there are plenty of other RC model boat forums (fora?) about, too. Have fun!
I've not built a big Perkasa so I'm unable to suggest anything from first-hand experience, except to avoid using sealed lead-acid batteries for power – they are too heavy. I would also tend towards using brushless motors.

Is there any need to ridicule a person for making a simple typing error, what is happening to us, this forum used to have dignity and its members had enough self-esteem not to become involved in childish finger pointing.

I am becoming disheartened with the increasing level of nastiness that is slowly creeping into our once happy little enclave, another forum already suffers from these problems and is slowly loosing its better members.

How many motors do you plan having in your model, I built one a few years ago and used three MFA 800s but these days the brushless motors provide lots more oumph.
