Attended the The Model Steamer Club Spring Show in Rouken Glen Park on Saturday 25th April with Lachie Stewart of the Richmond Club.
A beautiful sunny day but the wind sprang up later in the afternoon. Didn’t seem to affect the enthusiasm to sail however. The rescue boat was called out however to the assistance of a couple of boats being blown on to the island at the centre of the lake.
A fantastic variety of ships on display and, more importantly, on the water. Someone counted 7 Clyde steamers on the pond at one time
Have posted some pictures in my gallery. Will post more as time permits and will also post video on Youtube once I have finished editing.
A wonderful afternoon out and many thanks to áthe Model Steamer Club for all their hard work to provide a fantastic afternoon out.
