Revell Hawaiian Pilot

Had a change from r/c models and decided to build this Revell Hawaiian Pilot which came at a very reasonable cost off ebay. Very old mouldings which date back to when Revell were in Venice, California in the 50's/60's. A lot of cleaning up and flash removal was required. All paints are Revell Aqua Color. Model built as instructions without modifications.

The full sized vessel has an interesting history, she rammed and sank her sister ship the Jacob Luckenbach.
