Hi

 

I purchased the RC Laser last summer with every intention of joining a local club and learning how to sail.

 

Well it didn’t happen, I never actually joined a club deciding instead to stay with my radio controlled planes.

 

I’m still in two minds about selling it as I’m not sure what it’s worth, I know what I paid but then that doesn’t mean very much.

 

This is what I have:-

 

The Rc Laser boat itself which includes all the radio gear, sails rudder dagger board
mast & boom.

There are 2 sales called a B rig and a C rig –

The RC Laser Stand

The padded blue Laser holdall which holds everything

 

What can anybody tell me ?

Hi is it 1/4 scale ? if so they are for sale complete with radio at £63 new I would be interested if you want to sell it please give me some Idea  of the price And where abouts it would have to be collected from as this will make a difference as to the price I would want to pay

Have a closer look at the adverts, you’ll find that the Laser is a little more than £63.00.

That sort of money will buy you the bag but not the yacht

The Laser is a very nice piece of kit with a huge following its a shame that you want to part with your boat.

 

Is it registered and sail numbered for racing with the Laser Association?

 

The association might be the best place to find a buyer have a look at www.rclaser.org.uk

Hello Roger,

Was not trying to offend you but went to WESTBOURNE MODELS .COM there advert read radio controlled 1/4 scale laser yacht with bag £63.63. I did not notice the cost of the sails A rig=£58.72  C rig=£29.36. as I make my own Sails.

 

IF YOU ARE SELLING WILL YOU PLEASE STATE THE PRICE ?

I think that the advert is misleading.

 

Laser Model boat Carry Bag

£63.62

This clearly states that the bag is £63.62 but there is no mention of the cost of the hull anywhere.

That’s a very confusing advert on the Westbourne site, you
actually have to put one ‘in your basket’ so to speak and then proceed to
checkout before you see the price.

 

Have a look at the site again Brian and proceed to checkout 
!

Let me know if having seen the price you’re still

Went to the basket total for the boat Ect  £400 +,

Looked at the boat Spec rather a big boat, I am in a wheel chair, not the size for me to sail without help, will have to stay with my  MICRO MAGIC / FOOTY able to get them in the water single handed,
