Race hulls

Ladies and Gents,

 After a considerable absence I am considering the return to RC boating. I used to have a couple of race hulls some years back (both powered by 10CC glow engines) but due to more pressing interests of life (work, marriage, kids) these were given away to a more deserving cause.

Although I have since moved in to full scale powerboating I still have a inkling to get myself a new model hull and have something to "play with" when taking out the big boat is not an option.

 Can anyone tell me where I can purchase the race style hulls for IC engines – I kept the engine and radio gear from my old boats so will just reuse these (so it would be for the 10cc marine glow engine) . It is just the hull a want – not necessarily a scale type but just one that is built for speed. I have no intention of racing them, it is purely for pleasure.

 Would even consider a second hand one if the price and condition were acceptable.

 Any info would be welcomed

Hi Dave,

A similar Q was asked in Beginers Section "Please Help Me", the Question of noise/speed restrictions/pollution/insurance, should all be taken into account.

Have a look in MB magazine for hulls also address for OMRA the race guys.
