hi all thanks for the reply,

just another question i need answering.! my futaba handset is a two channel device, and needed two seperate channels,so what i did was remove the single socket for the crystal, and put in a two way switch and two sockets,so that i could switch between channels,as one part of my boat has the motor drive and rudder control, secondly the front end of the boat has two lift up style doors,my question is if splitting the single crystal socket into two different frequencies will they interfear with one another,as i don`t have the other crystal as of yet,and needed to know if this idea will work,as i can`t afford a four channel handset, the make of my handset is a futaba fp-t2gs running on 27.255 mhz,and if at all possible how far appart do the two frequencies have to be to not interfear with one another, the two reciever crystals that i have at present, is( 27.255 mhz,) and (27.045 mhz) but don`t have the transmiter crystal (27.045) ,if any one has any answers i would be very grateful,my e-mail address is /forum/smilies/big_smile_smiley.gif[/img][email protected]][email protected].  and i can be contacted via text on 07788846913. as i said any info would be great,

                                                        many thanks,                           dave,(firefly.)

Dave, in theory this should be ok, I presume you have two seperate recievers in the boat. Any two different crystals in the transmitter (one at a time) and the matching colour/frequency split in the seperate recievers should give no problems regarding interference. I dont suppose anyone has tried this before to comment on the  proposed setup, but as i say, the theory sounds , er, sound, to me…….?  Ashley
